We are out-of-network providers. We will provide you with a monthly statement of services for you to submit directly to your insurance company to receive reimbursement. The amount covered by your insurance company will vary depending upon your plan. However, we have an insurance reimbursement estimate tool you can use here.
The benefit of working with an out-of-network therapist is that your records are entirely confidential and will not be entered into an insurance company database.
We ask that you notify your therapist within 48 hours of your appointment if you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment. If you do not notify us within 48 hours of your missed appointment, you will be charged for the full cost of the session.
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers are required to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including mental health services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including mental health services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
