Nashville Psych is a private psychology and counseling practice co-founded by Dr. Daniel Goldstein and Amy Goldstein, with a mission of helping clients heal, grow, and reach their full potential. We provide therapy and psychological services to adolescents, adults, couples, and families in Nashville, throughout Tennessee, as well as telehealth therapy in 41 PSYPACT states.
We created Nashville Psych in 2016 with the goal of building a warm, welcoming, and supportive community of therapists who could meet the needs of clients in Nashville and beyond. Supporting the well-being of our therapists is an important part of our practice, because we believe clinicians do their best work when they feel supported, connected, and cared for.
Our therapists bring different backgrounds, areas of expertise, personalities, and approaches to their work, but they share something important: they are thoughtful, empathetic, responsive, and deeply invested in the people they work with. We are intentional about building a team that reflects those qualities.
Therapy That Fits Each Client’s Unique Needs
There is no single therapeutic approach that is right for everyone. Our therapists draw from a range of evidence-based and depth-oriented approaches and tailor their work to meet the needs of each individual, couple, or group. Depending on what brings you to therapy, that might mean exploring longstanding patterns and relationships, learning practical tools, processing difficult experiences, or making meaningful changes in your life and relationships.
No matter which approaches are used, we believe meaningful therapy happens when people feel seen, understood, challenged when appropriate, and able to be genuinely themselves.
