Psychological Assessment Trainees

Each year, Nashville Psych selects outstanding doctoral students from local universities for a training program in the area of Psychoeducational and Psychological Assessments. Our team of practicum students support Dr. Daniel Goldstein, Dr. Neva Murray, and Dr. Nisha Bhatt with the administration, case conceptualization, scoring, report writing, and feedback that are central to psychoeducational evaluations. Our 2025-2026 Trainees are exceptional students who are passionate about the evaluation process.

Bradford Pippen

Bradford Pippen is a fifth-year Ph.D. candidate in the Counseling Psychology program at Tennessee State University, who is working under the supervision of Dr. Neva Murray at Nashville Psych. Pippen is passionate about administering assessments. Prior to entering his doctoral program, Pippen earned a Master of Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Kentucky and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and minor in Political Science from the University of Memphis. 

Leonardo Martinez-Torres

Leonardo Martinez-Torres is a second-year PhD student at Tennessee State University’s Counseling Psychology Program, working under the supervision of Dr. Nisha Bhatt at Nashville Psych. Prior to starting his doctoral program, Leonardo earned an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Tennessee State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience from the University of California, Los Angeles.
